Write blocks or objects to an external drawing

The WBLOCK (or write block) command is used to create a new drawing file from a selected set of objects within an existing drawing.

This drawing can then be inserted as a block into another drawing or included as part of a library of blocks and shared with other users.

After completing this video, you will be able to:

  • Use the WBLOCK command.
  • Export drawing content to an external drawing for use in other drawings.
